The practice has been fortunate to consult with a regional firm Pinnacle Planning, and this has provided the practice with the ability to offer over 60 employees i.e. the physician support staff, numerous benefits including short and long term disability, pension profit sharing plan, 401 plan, single or family health insurance, dental, free parking, uniforms, CME, paid time off, vacations, monthly staff meetings, in-house training, hands on training and mentoring, and competitive wages and salaries.
Patients, doctors and personnel are provided attractive work spaces utilizing the services of NAI Isaacs Commercial Real Estate Services in addition to Kurt Rose Construction, Incorporated, a regional contractor who has collaborated with administration to provide an open, area, pleasant work space and environment.
Our employees are provided annual OSHA training, annual evaluations, employee handbooks, compliance manual, HIPPA training, and if they are required to travel to different clinics are provided reimbursement for travel and/or lodging.
The practice has monthly staff meetings for all staff and physicians to review all memos from the past month, updates, new policies and procedures, and to address any other issues. This is accomplished utilizing voice Conferencing over our intranet. The minutes are available on the intranet for review later if needed or for those who were unable to attend. In addition, the practice has quarterly staff meetings with all the doctors in person for updates and CME. Also the practice has an open door policy with administration and staff which allows any immediate concerns to be addressed in a timely fashion. Furthermore, the founder of the practice speaks daily with managers, staff, and physicians regarding a variety of patient care issues that arise at the different offices.
These solutions have allowed the practice to grow from one physician and two staff employees to now over 60 staff employees and as mentioned earlier the addition of the 10th doctor to the group practice.
